Larry Pierce - Chief Executive
Officer
Larry has served as the CEO of NADA for the past eleven years. He
comes from a background in drug and alcohol service provision in
Queensland in the 1980s and 1990s and has also had extensive
experience in the public sector in HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C public
health programs both in Queensland and the Commonwealth health
departments. Larry sits on the NSW Drug and Alcohol Council and the
NSW Health NGO Advisory Committee, representing and advocating for
NGO interests with NSW Health.

Robert Stirling - Director Planning and
Strategy
Robert joined NADA in 2008. He is responsible for areas such as
sector reform and development, policy and planning, CEO/executive
support, and research. He also sits on a number of committees
representing the non government drug and alcohol sector. He has
qualifications in public health and community management.
Robert is a Justice of the Peace, providing JP services to NADA
and its members.

Heidi Becker - Manager Programs
and Services
Heidi joined NADA in late 2007. Her role now includes management
of the NADA Programs and Service delivery including the Quality
Improvement, Sector development, Membership and the Workforce
Development Program. Heidi brings to NADA 20 years experience in
AOD, mental health, disability, housing and criminal justice across
the NSW government and NGO sector.

Suzie Hudson - Program
Manager
Dr Suzie Hudson is an accredited Mental Health Social
Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers and has
over 16 years clinical experience in the fields of substance
misuse, mental health, forensics, research and evaluation. Suzie
has worked, developed and managed community-based and residential
alcohol and drug services both in Australia and overseas. She
joined NADA in 2012 as a consultant and a year later she signed up
more permanently. Currently working on Project Managing the NADA
MDS/COMS data collection and training for members, Suzie has a PhD
in Public Health and Community Medicine and a passion for engaging
with social change.

Ciara Donaghy - Program
Manager
Ciara joined NADA in late 2008, and
is now acting manager of the Sector Capacity Building program.
Ciara's previous roles have included working on the Practice
Enhancement Project, the Workforce Development Training Grants
Project and the Women's Alcohol and other Drug Services Development
Program. Ciara has a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology and a
Diploma in Community Services.

Craig Bulley - Administration
Officer
Craig has held the role of Administration Officer since July 2013.
Prior to that, Craig worked providing administrative support on a
casual basis. Craig provides secretariat support to the NADA Board
and Sub-committees, looks after membership, accounts payable and
various other tasks. Craig previously worked for NADA from 2008 to
2010 in the roles of Media and Communication Officer. Prior to that
Craig had many years experience in the Community Broadcasting
sector.

Edith Olivares - Project
Officer
Edith is originally from Chile and studied Cultural Management in
the University of Valparaiso, Chile. Edith arrived in Sydney in
2008 and worked in community development roles for different
community organisations. She joined NADA in October 2012, and is
working on the Sector Capacity Building program and other projects.
Edith is currently reviewing the Policy Toolkit together with
exploring and developing mechanisms to support rural and remote
service engagement.

Deb Tipper - Project Officer
In February 2012 Deb Tipper took up the position of
Project Officer for the Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol
Research Network, a collaborative project between NADA and MHCC.
Deb has a long history of working in the NGO sector in Sydney and
on the NSW Central Coast where she lives. Much of her work has been
focussed on community development, organisational development and
bringing people together to develop and work towards shared
visions.
